Car parks and parking Gothenburg

This is the best way to park in Gothenburg. You will probably not find cheaper and the access to the city center is very easy. Just hop on a tram (the 5, 6 or 11) and get off at the stop just after crossing the bridge and you'll be in the city centre in 7-9 minutes. If you are in Gothenburg with your car or have rented one, this is the cheapest way to park close to the centre at any time of the day or night and put your car in a safe and quiet place.

The open-air parking lots at Heden and the bus terminal are just 2 minutes away from Kungsports Avenyn and there are always spaces available! There are also several parking lots around the center, including Evenemang near Liseberg Park or along the canal, just across from the Haga district. In Gothenburg, all parking meters in on-street parking lots are marked TAXA, followed by the numbers 1-7, 22 or the letter A. You can pay by credit card at all parking meters in the city. It is even possible to pay via the Parkering Göteborg app.
