Lysekil is a quiet, cute little town in the Bohuslän region of Sweden. With its 7600 inhabitants, it offers a peaceful setting for visitors. One of the town's points of interest is its nature reserve, Stangehuvud, which offers magnificent scenery with its pink polished rocks. Climbing enthusiasts can also take advantage of this unique terrain. For a bite to eat, the Terrassen Bistro is a good address, with its magnificent terrace and simple but tasty dishes at affordable prices. To discover the surrounding area, you can take a ferry from Lysekil to the island of Skaftö. This island is home to a number of charming little villages, such as Fiskebäckskill and Grundsund, which can be reached via a coastal path. The Bohuslän region offers many other beautiful islands to explore, but for a short stay, Skaftö is a convenient choice in terms of transport.
