Petit Futé's opinion on MUSÉE DE LA PHOTO (FOTOGRAFISKA MUSEET)
Photography is a major artistic medium in Scandinavia, because of the Nordic light that makes photographers dream.
A few dozen metres from the Slussen metro station, its red brick façade is still intact. Fotografiska is one of the largest places dedicated to contemporary photography. Opened in 2010, this museum is a delight for photography enthusiasts. In the heart of a building from the beginning of the 20th century, there are 5,500m2 of modern space that hosts four major exhibitions and about twenty smaller ones each year. The scenography is pleasant and fluid. Not to be missed!
