Located in the city center, this small 19th-century Confucian-Buddhist temple is the oldest in the region. In February, for two weeks after Chinese New Year, the temple hosts the Tai Pei Kong festival, which attracts all the country's Chinese every year (the festival's origins date back to the 14th century). Dragons and fireworks are displayed in the purest tradition. There's also the Confucian temple of Kuan Yin (before the Megawati bridge).

It is a pretty temple outside but nothing sensational.
