Also known as Ngarsopuro. Many warungs offer local specialties. Try the nasi liwet with susu segar, a milky drink with honey. The Pujosari and Oriental are excellent. They serve the famous ayam kampung. The Oriental is also known for its fine Chinese cuisine. Jalan Yos Sudarso is the street of satés. Open very late. You'll also find a selection of souvenirs, handicrafts and some clothing stalls.
