50,000 m² agro-tourism complex offering a variety of fun and sporting attractions for all ages.
The Green Valley agro-tourism complex covers 50,000 m2 in the middle of 70 hectares of rubber, palm and cocoa plantations, and enjoys an exceptional ecosystem including fish ponds and a natural lake fed by several rivers. A particularly popular nature outing for Abidjanese families, the site offers a variety of fun and sporting attractions adapted to all ages: fishing, mountain biking, hiking, playgrounds for children (entertainment, castles, swings...) and adults (table football, petanque...), picnic areas... But the heart of its activity is to raise awareness of respect for the environment and make city dwellers discover the Ivorian agricultural know-how. An educational tour of about an hour in the company of a guide allows you to discover plantations of cocoa trees, rubber trees and palm trees, crops for which Côte d'Ivoire is famous. The chocolate connoisseur who has never seen a pod in his or her life will then be able to familiarise himself or herself with all the facets of the job of cocoa producer, from harvesting the beans to drying them and bleeding the rubber trees... before finding them on the restaurant's menu. Paradoxically, in terms of the complex itself, it's a bit of a concrete party on every floor and a mixture of colours to give sight back to a blind person. But as soon as nature regains its rights, the magic happens and the site offers truly enchanting walks through the lush vegetation of the surroundings that you will never tire of exploring.
