Neo-colonial-style hotel offering spacious rooms with air conditioning, TV and wifi.
This hotel opened in 1956 and has hosted, among others, Houphouët-Boigny and de Gaulle. The neo-colonial building, located at the end of a dead end (not very engaging in the evening), has 80 rooms spread over 5 floors, overlooking the lagoon front on one side, and the garden and towers of the Plateau on the other. The rooms are spacious, properly equipped (air conditioning, TV, wifi), renovated in 2014 with lagoon-side balconies, despite cramped bathrooms. The restaurant (which is not extraordinary) opens onto a garden with a soothing wall of water.

A little terrace of the 2 opinions. I placed here: the rooms are spacious with fantastic views. Generally the entire building is superb: an old-fashioned charm gives. The location is excellent even if the street to get there is a little dark but it is often in Abidjan even in the heart of the Plateau. The service is not bad, simple, a little too in my opinion. The place is quite sinister most of the time for lack of guests or guests: a heavy silence. A decor which while keeping its yesteryear would have, in my opinion, refreshed.
Rather a pleasant surprise to the author of the guide. I would say surprises rather! It is not at all in the heart of the Plateau, unlike what is known as but with its outskirts, on the highway along the plateau. The hotel is at the end of a cul-de-sac have glaucous gorge to the possible. Even the taximen do not manage to find it! Everything is glaucous in this hotel whose I did not succeed in finding the old-fashioned charm about the guide speaks. This old, is dilapidated and depressing. Everything for €50 per night!
The best at Abidjan and around
