MARINE RESOURCES RESEARCH CENTRE

It was on a federal initiative that, in 1984, this centre for the study of the marine environment was established. Its first vocation is the search for and preservation of an unknown and fragile environment, although traditionally exploited by the Emirates fishermen. Of 127 000 m ², 40 basins are used for breeding and observing aquatic fauna. A giant nursery for fry and larvae implemented as a political project designed to develop the diversity of fisheries resource.
