Museum located in Al-Dhaïd, home to one of the Gulf's most striking enigmas, excavated in the 1970s by Béatrice de Cardi.
This wadi is home to one of the most striking enigmas of the Gulf, the Asimah alignment (2100-2000 BC). Excavated in the 1970s by Beatrice de Cardi, an officer of the Order of the British Empire, the site has since been examined by the French Archaeological Mission. Visiting the RAK National Museum, the alignment of stones, sometimes dark, sometimes light, is prolonged by a curious apsidal shape. In the vicinity, an Iron Age site was also identified.
