How not to succumb to the charm of Gjogv? The houses are spread out along the basket-shaped shore surrounded by sloping cliffs covered with short grass overlooking the sea. But where is the port hidden? It is located in a fault of the cliff. A very deep gorge which gave its name to the village, and which presents an inclined plane in cement allowing to winch the boats in case of bad weather.
