FAER ISLES DISTILLERY

A distillery that is the talk of the town. The project began in 2019 with the first distillation experiments using eight types of Faroese seaweed and other local botanicals. Development of a whisky recipe to be marketed in 2026. And off we go! The first gin, vodka and akvavit have been on the market since 2022, and have already won awards, notably at the London spirits competition in 2023. North Atlantic Underwater Vodka, the world's first freshwater vodka from a reservoir beneath the seabed.
