FAROESE AQUARIUM (FØROYA SJÓSAVN)

Located on a hill 15 minutes walk from the port, the aquarium offers the opportunity to discover the life of the North Atlantic Ocean. The initiative dates back to 2006 in order to enhance the natural heritage and help to better protect it. More than forty species out of the 238 species of fish that can be found in the waters of the archipelago are presented. Octopuses, small sharks, morays, but also crustaceans and rare fish. Ideal on a foggy day!
