MUSEUM OF FOSSILS AND CHALK

Mors boasts of being the only place in the world with porous chalk (Moler), formed in the distant past when this region was covered by warm seas. Millions of microscopic organisms have formed a fossiliferous layer. You can see what the prehistoric tropical fish that swam here looked like. As you walk around the site, you can pick up some. Be careful, however, with the weight of these souvenirs: it is limited by law.
