Old houses in Ærøskøbing with carved doors, colors and flowers from the and centuries.

They date from the 17th and 18th centuries. Carved doors, colours and flowers everywhere: on the windows in pots, or between the cobblestones where sometimes a solitary hollyhock grows. The most imposing: the old pharmacy on Vestergade. The smallest: Dukkehuset (the doll's house) on Smedegade. The secret of this lively and well-preserved village? The mobilization of its inhabitants in the 1960s. And several houses have been listed.

Véritable coup de cowur de mon voyage au Danemark. On est transporté dans une autre époque. Endroit assez touristique donc évitez les weekends et jours fériés. Le trajet en ferry depuis Svendborg est plaisant.
