Opening hours Copenhagen

To see / To do Copenhagen

Opening hours vary from one place to another, so it is important to check them before planning your day. Museums are generally open from Tuesday to Sunday from 10am to 5pm or from 11am to 6pm. One night a week, a nocturne pushes the opening to 8 or 10 pm. From June to September, most of them are open every day of the week, such as the National Museum of Denmark, but they close earlier on holidays.

As far as the monuments are concerned, the opening hours can be more limited, from 10am to 3pm or even 4pm. This is the case for Amalienborg or Rosenborg, the church of Saint Nicholas or the Trinity Church.

The Nordic people are used to eat early. The frokost lunch is classically served between 12:00 and 15:30 but we dine aften from 17:30! After 9pm, it can be difficult to be received even if this custom is changing and adapting to the development of tourism. The good news is that, in their great majority, the restaurants are open on Sunday midday.
