In the manner of the royal families, the Jacobsen family had their family pantheon built near their house and the Carlsberg brewery! The church built by Vilhelm Dahlerup in 1891 is characteristic of the historicist eclecticism of the 19th century. Its plan is based on the basilical plan of the churches of Ravenna with its bell tower outside the walls, and the naves are inspired by the synagogue of Toledo! In the crypt are the sarcophagi. Outside an amazing sculpture awaits you, Troll that smells of Christian blood. The original is in the glyptotheque.
