Things to see and do Histria

At the entrance to the archaeological site, an interesting museum informs the visitor about the history of the city and presents the objects unearthed during the excavations, which began at the beginning of the 20th century: statuettes, vases, painted ceramics, bas-reliefs... Then paths take you among the remains. You will recognize the surrounding walls, which once surrounded a city of 60 ha. You will also see the remains of the temples dedicated to Zeus and Aphrodite, cobbled streets, thermal baths and a 6th century Christian basilica.

Difficult access to the site without a car
