HIPPOCAMPE CLUB CALVADOS

The Club Club du Calvados has existed for nearly 25 years. Approved by Youth and Sport, and affiliated with the French Federation of Underwater Studies and Sports (FFESSM), it has about fifty members to whom it proposes initiation (baptism and level 1), development (level 2 and more), leisure, and hunting. The swimming pool, at Caen’s marine stadium, takes place in winter, from September to May, allowing for the acquisition of automatic and other essential bases. Sea dives begin at Easter, usually from Lion-sur-Mer where the club has an advanced base and sometimes on other sites. If the Submarine Channel reveals many treasures, escapades to other funds are also the program.
