A traditional festival celebrated every year on August 15, it's the perfect way to spend a beautiful day by the sea!
A tradition not to be missed when you live by the coast: welcome to the Fête de la mer! The festivities begin in the morning with a parade of decorated boats, followed by a procession down to the beach. Then it's time for the traditional mass: blessing the boats and paying homage to sailors lost at sea. All this whets the appetite? Then it's time for the fish supper! And all to the accompaniment of sea chanteys and live music from 9pm to 10:30pm. And to round things off in style, fireworks! Don't hesitate, it's free!
