2 km south of the city centre, across the river Mureș, this 2-star pension and 3-star hotel are 300 m from each other, on the same busy boulevard. Both are very pleasant and cheap. The guesthouse, decorated in light colours, has a parking lot and a small terrace. The hotel's rooms are a little more dated, but better equipped. It also houses a restaurant, serving very good traditional cuisine, always at low prices. An excellent option for tight budgets.

Off-center in the south of the city, this recent hotel is located on the banks of the Mureș. Many of its rooms, as well as its terrace, offer a lovely view of the early ^20th-century Traian Bridge. It has 42 double rooms, 6 single rooms, 3 suites and 3 apartments. The carpeted rooms are warm and pleasant, and rather elegant with their wooden furniture and leather sofas. The lobby and restaurant recreate a period atmosphere of woodwork and refinement. A tennis court and sauna are also available.
