Housed in the former 18th-century Béldi Palace, this dynamic institute organizes a wide range of cultural events in addition to its French courses: concerts, shows, lectures, a French film festival in May, the Clujotronic digital arts festival at the end of September... It also boasts a well-stocked media library, as well as an exhibition space dedicated to contemporary art, called "La Cave", in a vaulted brick hall. The venue mainly exhibits works by young Romanian artists (photography, painting, ceramics, etc.).
