Occupying two large Saxon houses, this handsome, comfortable guesthouse cultivates a medieval atmosphere, with its wrought-iron furnishings. The rooms are more elegant and well-appointed than in the town's other guesthouses, but the accommodation, which is more like a hotel, loses a little of the charm of a homestay.
