A major tourist attraction, or rather tourist magnet, the Pelican Bar, so named because there are so many in the area, can be a disappointment. Should you go or not to have a drink and watch the sunset? You be the judge. The experience is fun, and you may see dolphins along the way, but it's now very expensive in terms of boat and drinks on site. Some practices are unpleasant: for example, you're encouraged to engrave your name here for... 5 US$! What's more, the toilets are dirty and fall straight into the water. It's a real turn-off!
