NYEONGNEUNG ROYAL TOMB

This tomb houses King Hyojong and his wife Queen Inseon. Hyojong (1649-1659), still a prince, was exiled to Manchuria after the invasions of 1636. He was enthroned after his brother's death and has been trying to avenge the honour of Korea that was trampled upon. But he'll die before his dream of revenge comes true. This grave is far less visited than his sister. But the charm is no less. It is located in the middle of a forest and at its feet flows a small stream.
