Institute in a stunning building, with a small gallery and 7 rooms for temporary exhibitions
In an amazing building, designed by Ruy Ohtake, is the institute dedicated to the Brazilian artist, and mother of the architect, Tomie Ohtake, known for her abstractionist works. Here you can see temporary exhibitions related to the artistic production of the country, but also international, of the last 50 years, as well as the new generation of contemporary art, in the 7 rooms arranged. Since 2013, the Institute has reserved a small gallery exclusively for Tomie's paintings, prints, drawings, sculptures, etc. (temporary thematic exhibitions).
