Getting around by bus and coach Araruama

Viação1001 continues to operate between Rio and Búzios, passing through the coastal towns in the north of the federal state, including Araruama (see Rio, transport). Departures to Rio de Janeiro run every day of the week. From this bus station, you can travel to Macaé, Niteroi, Nilopolis, Novo Iguaçu, Duque de Caixas, Manilha and Alcântara. In Rio de Janeiro, there are two possible destinations, Novo Rio and Campo Grande. In Niteroi, you can reach the ferry terminal or the city bus station.
