The Mirante imperial restaurant is a chic restaurant on the heights of the historic centre, as its name "Mirante" (viewpoint) indicates. It offers a breathtaking view of the bay of Mangaratiba. Of course, it is the fish that are in the spotlight. Special mention for the filet of sole, well cooked, and the seafood moquecas (specialties of the Nordeste simmered in terracotta pots). Pastels are not to be outdone. The pizzas are very good.
