The museum is housed in a flamboyant building, a unique blend of Balinese architecture and Spanish influences, overlooking the Campuan River. It houses an interesting collection of works from different periods of the artist's career. During his lifetime, the museum was visited daily by hundreds of people from all over the world. Visitors can also discover Balinese life by visiting the family temple or strolling through the gardens. The artist's studio remains intact, with an unfinished painting on the easel. Women stroll through the courtyard dressed in traditional Balinese garb and carrying offerings. The Blanco family offers a personal tour of the museum and its gardens.
