A must-see museum-monument in Denpasar, commemorating Balinese culture from prehistoric times to independence.

This museum-monument was inaugurated in 2003 to commemorate Balinese culture from prehistoric times to independence. The main theme is to immortalize the Balinese battle and courage through, among others, the puputan of Badung and the sacrifice of the people before the invader. The culture and traditions are also treated through paintings whose purpose is to paint the Balinese spirit. From the top of the monument, a nice view of the city and its surroundings. It is one of the major sites of Denpasar, the one that attracts the most visitors.
