DIE SÜDSTADT

The south of the city, as it is called, is a superb district 1900, emblematic of German cities, to the very beautiful Art Nouveau architecture. The Südstadt is located west of Poppelsdorfer Allee in the vicinity of Prinz-Albert-Strasse and Kurfürstenstrasse. His houses were built between 1870 and the First World War. However, in all shapes and colours they have a few common points: a garden on the level and a surenchère of stucco, colonnades and mouldings typical of the time.
