FASSBENDER

Opened in 1830, it is one of the three oldest cafes in the city. It was completely destroyed during World War II, then reconstructed and built in the style of the 1950 s. Its interior, which is protected as a historic monument and has often served as a cinema, has never changed since. Located just a few meters from the Hohe Strasse shopping street, this is a perfect place for a small coffee break before, during or after shopping, and to delight in a piece of cake or other delicacy from home pastry.
