Founded in 1909, this museum is devoted exclusively to ceramics. Its collection features pieces dating back more than 8,000 years, from every corner of the globe. The museum is unique in that it is the only one in the world to present a global history of ceramics spanning several millennia, from its earliest beginnings to the present day. Beautiful pieces from Asia, Latin America and porcelain, including some from famous German manufacturers. You've got to love it, but it's truly superb.
