Saint Peter Cathedral, sitting on the Markt, was the flamboyant heart of Bremen's archdiocese and its powerful bishops. The richness of this past is on every stone. Its origins date back to the th century. It underwent various changes between the th and th centuries. The towers are from the end of the th century. Several parts of the cathedral damaged as a result of the bombings were reconstructed after the Second World War. Two very beautiful Romanesque crypts with small side stairs. It also has a very good museum of religious art, free of charge.

La cathédrale de Saint Pierre de Brème !!! Très beau monument au coeur de la ville de Brème. Une architecture splendide !!! Un incontournable du centre de la ville.
