DEUTSCHES ZOLLMUSEUM (CUSTOMS MUSEUM)

This museum - an offshoot of the national customs office - presents the role and techniques of customs, of course firmly established in a former customs office in the port of Hamburg. Regulations, weapons, customs uniforms, smugglers' tricks, this museum with its modern and playful presentation immerses us in a nerve center of international trade. The museum traces the history of customs from Roman antiquity to the present day.
