A gourmet restaurant in the chic district of Nienstedten.

Chef Thomas Martin comes from Mannheim but trained in France, an influence that can be seen in his menu, which combines seafood specialties with light meats. At the helm of the restaurant of the luxury hotel Louis C. Jacob's restaurant since 1997, he serves subtle flavors in an absolutely enchanting setting on the banks of the Elbe. The restaurant is decorated with the same sober refinement and attention to detail as the hotel, and the service is fully worthy of the two stars awarded to one of Hamburg's best restaurants.

Premium Restaurant with a wonderful service. Upscale Place in the evening. Avoid breakfast: understaffed, impossible to get coffee or tea or an egg without massive delay. Full of locals spending all morning

Das Restaurant hat seinen hervorragenden Ruf von Qualität verloren. Wir haben hier vor 1 Monat erneut gegessen und es besteht kein Vergleich mehr zu den vergangenen Besuchen. Kleine Portionen zu überhöhten Preisen, Qualität unzureichend, Weinpreise astronomisch, Bekleidung der Bedienung sehr gewöhnungsbedürftig, Freunde hatten uns gewarnt (zu Recht)
