One of the oldest breweries in the city: German cuisine and flowing beer.

A gigantic brewery in the old town, near the Speicherstadt. Traditional German decor and good humor in this cellar where the beer flows freely and the simple and efficient dishes are hearty and delicious. The Gröninger Privatbrauerei is one of the oldest breweries in Hamburg. Since 1793, a traditional beer has been brewed here according to the recipes of the past: unfiltered and naturally cloudy. The hops come from the Hallertau near Munich, the malt from a malting plant in Bamberg, the water from the Lüneburg Heath.

Uriges Gewölbe Gasthaus. Essen gut Bürgerlich und man wird satt. Das Bier ist sehr lecker. Warum nur 4 Sterne ? Die Akustik ist so schlecht, dass eine Unterhaltung fast unmöglich ist.

Traditioneller Maibockanstich im Gröninger Brauhaus, Zippelhaus 4. Ein sehr geselliger Abend mit dem süffigen Maibock und dem sehr zu empfehlenden, leckeren Brauerschmaus und das mit einem äußerst freundlichen und aufmerksamen Serviceteam.

Tolle Location, das Bier ist lecker. Sauber. Nur der Service war nicht so wie ich es mir vorstelle. Die Servicekräfte unterhielten sich lieber untereinander anstatt Service am Gast zu betreiben...ich musste mich mehrmals bemerkbar machen um eine weitere Bestellung auf zu geben. Und es waren kaum Gäste da (16:30 Uhr)....schade eigentlich.
