A Jewish community refit in Erfurt in the th century, with the arrival of immigrants from ancient Poland. The «Petite Synagogue» was built by the community in 1840, at the location of a former place of worship disappeared after 1349. Like the «Old Synagogue», his chance was turned into a warehouse after his sale in 1885. After 1918, it was a dwelling house and the Nazis did not chamalcan it. This very nice-storey neo-classical building, built directly on the edge of Gera, is now a witness to Jewish life and is freely visited. Note: The very beautiful Holy Ark, which is found under a renovation after renovation.
