In this street, a little off the beaten track, there is always a good reason to take a detour to the Göbecke front. Founded 100 years ago, this family brand is one of the best bakeries in the city. It is particularly here that you must buy a Leipziger Lerche (Leipzig lark) at all costs. The current generation, represented by Matthias and Christine, also makes traditional German pies and sells a delicious wholemeal bread. The people of Leipzig are not mistaken and Göbecke remains a sure bet for everyone.
