This city cultural institution, which recently reopened its new doors, has three exciting museums. An excellent Ethnographic Museum (Museum für Völkerkunde), at the forefront of the teaching techniques of the moment. A musical instruments museum (Museum für Musikinstrumente), renowned worldwide for its important collection. Finally a museum of applied arts, from antiquity to historicism, one of the best in the world.
