PRINCE TRIBUTE MURAL

The Bloomington-based artist Rock Martinez wanted to pay tribute to Prince after his tragic death by creating this gigantic street art, which represents the star accompanied by a dove and his love symbol, in purple of course. The work occupies a whole section of the wall, hard to miss it! This dedication to the memory of the Minneapolis-born singer, who died in 2016 at his home in Parsley Park following an overdose, is far from being an isolated case: numerous works of street art in homage to Prince have bloomed on the city walls.
