MINNEAPOLIS AQUATENNIAL

This festival has been held in Minneapolis since 1940. It was created to celebrate the city and its many streams, lakes, rivers and creeks. It must be said that the locals are very attached to the nature aspect of their city. A total of three days of concerts and activities are organized in the middle of summer. About seventy festivities take place all over the city centre, including a large parade dressed in music, acrobatics in the river and, to close the festival, fireworks.
