Quiet restaurant located on Rue de l’Homme-de-Bois offering quality products
James knows how to welcome his guests. On the picture rails, he talks about his life and his passions. But let's move on to the table, starting with a Norman kir (cider from Ferme des Parquets de Fourneville). Then you'll be tempted by traditional cuisine, freshly prepared, including sardine crumble, andouille de Vire with warm apples, Caen-style tripe (made by father-in-law!), and rice pudding (James's grandmother's recipe)... The wine is good and the prices very reasonable for this restaurant with quality services, a little away from the crowd.

Restaurant to be avoided at all costs in spite of the many recommendations of Petit Futé. Cooked and annealings. Our various remarks were not taken into account by the establishment. Ultimately, lots of waiting for a result more than disappointing.

Etablissement ayant en façade les recommandations du petit futé 2013 et années précédentes mais qui ne le mérite pas. Un menu à 26€ entrée, plat, dessert sans saveur et sans raffinement, très peu copieux, on en ressort presque avec sa faim.
