Great park with the most ecological systems in Madison hosting all season walks and exhibits.
This park, managed by the University of Madison, is dedicated to restoring the prairies, forests and wetlands that once covered Wisconsin, in order to study their ecosystems. It is home to one of the largest concentrations of restored natural environments in the world. Visitors are asked to stay strictly on the trails to preserve the flora and fauna being studied. In all seasons, the site offers excellent walking opportunities, enhanced by educational programs and temporary exhibitions.
