POLAR BEAR SWIM

You want more proof that Midwesterners don't fear the cold? All you have to do is attend the Polar Bear Swim, a spectacular and frightening event... On the first day of the year, dozens of brave (or crazy?) people throw themselves into the icy waters of Lake Michigan at Jacksonport in the Door County area. A fun tradition, in which you will have all the leisure to take part if you wish, since everyone is welcome ... A funny way to celebrate the New Year!
