PABST MANSION

Captain Frederick Pabst was, in the 1890s, one of Milwaukee's beer barons, a ship's captain and a lover of art and architecture. Of German origin, like many immigrants at the time, he had this splendid building built in the Flemish style, with wrought-iron windows and rooms loaded with carved wooden furniture.
