Discover MILWAUKEE

Milwaukee, a city of 600,000 inhabitants, is located 150 km north of Chicago on the shores of Lake Michigan. A city on a human scale, Milwaukee is known for its friendly atmosphere and quality of life. Its many parks, bike paths and beautiful lakefront provide an ideal setting for outdoor activities. The city's cultural diversity is expressed in its historic neighborhoods (German, Polish, African-American, Latino), its gastronomy, its museums and festivals such as the famous Summerfest, one of the world's largest music festivals. Milwaukee is crossed by three rivers that join before flowing into the lake: the Milwaukee River descends from the north and flows through the downtown area past the restaurant terraces; the Menominee River comes from the west and flows through an industrial district, the Menominee Valley; finally, the Kinnickinnic River rises from the south and flows into the first two.
