Publican Quality Bread (or "PQB") is a West Town bakery that opened its second Oak Park location in February 2024. Led by James Beard-starred baker Greg Wade, the establishment offers sourdough breads, baguettes, ciabattas and fine viennoiseries such as kouign-amann in the morning. At lunchtime, you can enjoy ham and butter or other tasty sandwiches, to take away or eat in. And from 4pm, it's time for pizza! A quality bakery in the neighborhood. A small grocery counter is also available, and the coffee is top quality.
