What would an affluent neighborhood like Oak Park be without its busy neighborhood café? Whirlwind Coffee is it. A haven for teleworkers, it's a neighborhood favorite from early morning onwards, whether for takeaway or on-site consumption. It doubles up as a bakery - at least in the pastry department - with its many muffins, croissants and pains au chocolat. The heart of the business is, of course, coffee, ground on the premises with different beans from a wide selection of countries. Bagged coffee is also available.
