More commonly known as "The Ex", the Exchequer restaurant is a Loop classic. A fixture on the Chicago culinary scene for over half a century, it's housed in a former speakeasy where Al Capone is said to have had his habit. As in any pub, you can drink beer by the pint, eat ribs with barbecue sauce, and watch the games on TV. The menu also features deep-dish pizza, ranked among Chicago's best.
