For a higher end version of the hamburger for lunch (Shake Shack is just around the corner), choose The Gage, a restaurant open to loyal customers on S. Michigan. The burger in two versions: classic, with beef, cheese, tomatoes, onions and salad, or made with deer, smoked gouda and mushrooms. For the reckless ones! In the evening, the menu is more elaborate: beautiful pieces of meat are available as well as a beautiful wine list. A very good place to go with your eyes closed.
